This card holder is made from the finest shell cordovan horsehide. The edges are open-cut, meaning they are sanded, sealed, and polished in several steps. While this process is time-consuming, it prevents the edges from fraying, ensuring they retain their beauty for years.
This high-quality card case is handcrafted with passion in our Bonn factory.

Product care

1. Avoid moisture
Leather is sensitive to water. Therefore, the keychain should always be protected from moisture, as water can dry out the leather and impair its flexibility and color. Moisture can lead to deformation and cracking.

2. Drying
If the leather does get really wet, it should be dried and air-dried. Avoid direct sunlight or hot heat sources, as these can dry out the leather and harden it.

3. Leather care
Leather needs regular moisture to stay supple and soft. Use a leather care product specifically for shell cordovan horsehide (e.g., Cordovan Pomade), which nourishes and protects the material. Apply the product sparingly with a soft cloth and buff to a shine after use.
