Our Bonn-based factory uses the finest leathers and belt buckles to create handcrafted leather belts of consistently top-quality quality. The cut edges are sanded, sealed with natural glue, and polished in several steps. These belts are made exclusively from cowhide from Italy, naturally vegetable-tanned. The buckle is crafted exclusively for us in a foundry near Pforzheim and is made of solid 925 silver. The buckle is then cleaned and polished in our leather factory to guarantee the best possible result.

Making a cambered belt

A curved belt is created through a two-layer manufacturing process. First, the lining leather is cut and thinned toward the edges. This creates the characteristic curve by making the base/lining leather thicker in the center and thinner toward the edges.

Next, the upper and lining leather are glued together, the excess leather is trimmed flat by hand, and then stitched to ensure stability and durability. The edges are sanded and polished before the belt buckle is sewn in by hand using a "one-stitch" technique.
